OSHKOSH (NBC 26) — A man has died after being shot in late April, Oshkosh Police said Wednesday.
Police said 29-year-old Deshaun Davis died at a local hospital after being shot on April 27. The shooting happened on the 900 Block of Greenwood Court in Oshkosh, police said.
The suspect in the case has been identified as 45-year-old Erice Grady, who was taken into custody on the day of the shooting. The Winnebago County District Attorney’s Office has formally charged Grady with First Degree Intentional Homicide.
Police said an autopsy will be conducted Thursday by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office.
