OSHKOSH (NBC 26) — The Oshkosh Police Department is currently investigating a man found dead on the 2100 Block of S Main Street in Oshkosh.
Police said the man was found late Monday morning lying in some bushes and was not responsive. Police confirmed he was dead when officers arrived at the scene. He has been identified as a 40-year-old man from Oshkosh. The police did not release his name.
Police said his death does not appear suspicious at this time. Investigators from the Oshkosh Police Department and the Winnebago County Coroner’s Office are continuing to investigate this incident.
