GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — A person of interest in the robbery of a Capitol Credit Union earlier this month is in police custody.
With the assistance of the US Marshals Service, Green Bay Police said the person of interest was taken into custody Thursday in Chicago.
Police said investigators are still actively working on the case and no additional information will be released at this time.
The robbery was reported on March 16 at 1651 Main Street. Police said patrol officers secured the scene and established a perimeter around the business. No one was hurt inside. Police said an undisclosed amount of cash was taken in the robbery.
Police didn't name the person of interest in a Friday statement.
