NEENAH (NBC 26) — A person was found stabbed to death in Neenah, police said Monday.
In a news release from Neenah Police, a Neenah Police officer was investigating a trespassing complaint in the 200 Block of Main Street on Saturday just before midnight.
While investigating this complaint, police said someone reported to the officer that a person was passed out in the grass in the 200 Block of Martens Street.
The officer found the person and noticed blood and injuries on the person’s upper chest. The person was unresponsive and beyond lifesaving efforts, police said.
After further investigation, it was determined that this person was stabbed to death, police said. The victim’s name will be released once all of the family has been notified.
Police are investigating and are calling this an isolated incident.
