DOOR COUNTY (NBC 26) — Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon received a key to Door County during Tuesday night's annual meeting of Destination Door County, Door County’s destination marketing and management organization.
DDC noted how the Packers player has been a "self-appointed cheerleader" for all things Door County since the summer of 2021, sharing his love for the county in interviews and social media posts.

DDC's new President and CEO, Julie Gilbert, surprised Dillon during the annual meeting by presenting him with a special key during the event after a short highlight video shared a few examples of AJ talking up Door County.
“I love everything about Door County,” said AJ Dillon after being presented the key from Gilbert. “Thank you guys very much, super honored, and a little taken aback right now, thank you so much."

DDC held their 96th annual meeting at Fernwood Gardens Ballroom at Mr. G’s near Jacksonport.
