GREEN BAY (WGBA) -- It was a season to remember for the Green and Gold. A new head coach led them close to the Super Bowl.
"It was a fun fun year and I think we have a couple more to look forward to," said Kitty Schmick from Omro.
The Packers went 13-3 and almost booked a trip to Miami. The season was cut short by the San Francisco 49ers. However, many thought the team wouldn't get this far.
"It suprised me," said Max Haeze from New Franken. "What Matt LaFleur did in his first year was incredible. No coach has done that."
What makes fans most excited is the future. They think another year will make the offense more comfortable, and lead to more explosive plays.
"Rodgers said look out for next year, it will be better," Haeze said. "I tend to trust him. He knows what he is doing."
Training camp starts in over just over 6 months. We will see what happens for the 2020 season.
