GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — Packers fans say there’s no question: Jordan Love is no Aaron Rodgers.
“You could definitely see a difference between how Love throws the ball how Rodgers throws the ball," said Joe Quinn. "I mean, there's been some inaccurate throws.”
However, fans are still optimistic about QB 2's potential.
“Aaron Rodgers is the goat," said Sawyer Hering. "I mean, you're not going to make plays like that early in your career, but it's good that he has a mentor like Aaron Rodgers to look up to.”
“I don't think love is doing bad as far as his performance," said Dave Schneider. "Yes, some throws are off, but I don't think he's doing that bad.
Even though today was a loss for the green and gold, fans say Rodgers will definitely start when he comes back next week.
“I think the chemistry is there," said Quinn. "I think the team wants to obviously rally around Love but that said, I think Rodgers is still going to be the starter going down the stretch, and hopefully all the way into southern California in February.”
