ASHWUABENON (WGBA) - Gameday parking can often be difficult. Lambeau Field is surrounded by homes. However, the lack of parking lots doesn't seem to bother many fans.

"Its like a giant family," said Tina DeFresne, who opens her home for fans to park. "People will stay and offer food and drink. I let them use the bathroom. It's a a really fun day."

Park anywhere close to the stadium and you will breaking the pocket. Parking can cost anywhere from $40-$50 near the stadium. However, go two blocks over and you'll find parking at half the price. Homeowners open up their lawns not just to make a few extra bucks, but also to create a sense of community that is unique.

"It's not like you're really trying to make any money," said James Constine, another fan who opens his house. "You really just make enough to cover the costs of food, brats and drinks for everybody, and you're still close enough to the stadium."

Its a longer walk, but a cheaper price. Plus the atmosphere of being in another Packer fan is a priceless experience.

"We have people coming from all over the county," Constine said. "Sometimes they even come back just to be at this home. It's really cool."
