OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, Wis. — Outagamie County Executive Tom Nelson vetoed a proposed additional half percent sales tax on Thursday.

The County Board will vote next week on whether to override Nelson's veto.

If the tax goes into place, the total sales tax in Outagamie County would be 5.5%. Estimates show it could bring in an extra $20 million per year.
