APPLETON, Wis. (NBC 26) — Officials with the Outagamie County Parks System are asking the public for input on plan to help shape area parks over the next few years.
"If we’ve learned one thing in our profession during this global pandemic, it is that people rely on us to provide a mental and physical escape during times of adversity," said a news release from Outagamie County. "The time has come for public input and we need your help! Please take a few minutes to complete our survey. This is a crucial component to the plan and the more feedback we get the better we can serve our residents moving forward!"
The Outagamie Co. Parks System said it has seen an unprecedented use of its parks and recreations areas since the pandemic impacted everyone's lives. Staff are hoping the survey will help shape the parks and recreation for the next five years.
