Outagamie Co. deputies searching for hit-and-run car that seriously injured pedestrian

TOWN OF BUCHANAN (NBC 26) — The Outagamie County Sheriff's Office is searching for a car involved in a hit-and-run that left one man seriously injured.

The Sheriff's Office said the crash happened around 11:30 p.m. Saturday on County Highway CE near Eisenhower Drive in the Town of Buchanan. When deputies arrived on the scene, they found a 35-year-old man from Buchanan with life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition.

According to the Sheriff's Office, the car that hit the man didn't stop. Investigators found various vehicle parts and deputies suspect the man was possibly struck by a 2014 – 2017 Mazda 6 sedan. The color of the vehicle is not known.
