Oshkosh gas station robbed, police search for suspects

OSHKOSH (NBC 26) — Oshkosh Police are searching for two suspects in an armed robbery that happened Tuesday night at R Store Gas Station, 1623 Bowen St.

Police said two suspects entered the gas station and robbed the clerk. One of these suspects displayed a black handgun. He is described as an African American and spoke with an accent. He was wearing dark clothing and bright blue sneakers.

Police said the other suspect was identified as a male, race unknown, and was also wearing dark clothing. Both suspects had their faces partially covered. They are believed to be in their teens or twenties and left with an undisclosed amount of money.

Oshkosh Police said no one was hurt.

These suspects may have been sighted prior to the robbery in the 2100 block of Evans Street. Police are asking people who live in that area to review their video surveillance cameras and contact the police with any further information.
