ONEIDA RESERVATION (NBC 26) — Oneida One Stop stores are giving back to the community by celebrating essential workers this month.

For the next three Fridays, the stores will be offering a free face mask and either a beverage chips or a doughnut to select essential workers at Oneida One Stop stores.

This Friday they are honoring healthcare workers.

"You know, we understand the stress and the day-to-day stress that people go through during this pandemic, so we're looking just to say, 'Thank you' to those workers and we know they've been through a lot and we know what they're experiencing, so we just want to show them a little appreciation," said Oneida One Stop Spokesperson Phil Wisneski.

On the 12th, they will be honoring public safety and education workers; on the 19th, they will honor grocery and convenience and restaurant workers and others.
