Oneida Nation School District to close for quarantine

ONEIDA, Wis. (NBC 26) — The Oneida Nation School District Administration and the Oneida Nation Public Health Department have announced that all school sites in the district will be quarantined, after a staff member tested positive for Covid-19.

All school sites will be closed from Friday, October 8th, until Monday, October 18th out of an abundance of caution.

An updated message is expected to be sent out detailing plans to transition from in-person to virtual learning.

District leaders say they will continue to monitor the situation.
