The Oneida Casino will be closed to the public for two weeks due to concerns about coronavirus.
A message published on the casino's website from the gaming manager said Oneida Casino will be temporarily closing on Saturday, March 21, at 11:59 p.m. This will be a two week closure to the public, subject to change.
Casino employees will be paid, the statement says.
The message from Louise Cornelius, Gaming General Manager, said the closure came after a review of other casinos closing, including casinos in Las Vegas and Atlantic City.
The decision to close will be assessed on a weekly basis. Read the letter here.
