WRIGHTSTOWN, Wis. (NBC 26) — One person is dead and two others suffered minor injuries after a head-on crash between a pickup truck and a dump truck in the town of Wrightstown.
It happened around 6:30 a.m. Thursday on Highway 96 at Blake Road.
The driver of the pickup truck had to be removed from the vehicle and was flown to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The two people in the dump truck had minor injuries and were also taken to a hospital.
No names are being revealed at this time.
The crash is currently being investigated by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, the Brown County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Unit, and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
