One person killed in single-vehicle crash in Oshkosh

OSHKOSH, Wis. (NBC 26 ) -- UPDATE: The Oshkosh Police Department have identified the 26-year-old man who was killed in a single-vehicle crash just after midnight Thursday.

The driver's name is Jacob Farr from the Town of Black Wolf.

The Department says the Winnebago Co. Coroner's Office assisted with the identifying of the man. An autopsy will be performed tomorrow by the Fond du Lac Medical Examiner's Office.

The Oshkosh Police Department is investigating after a single-vehicle crash left a man dead.

It happened just after midnight Thursday morning in the 3000 block of Oregon Street in Oshkosh.

Police say the vehicle was traveling southbound, when it left the road and struck a tree. The 26-year-old driver was the only occupant. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Oshkosh Police Department and Wisconsin State Patrol are continuing the investigation.
