ASHWAUBENON, Wis. - Six people are displaced from their home, and one person is hurt, after a duplex fire in Ashwaubenon Wednesday morning.
Crews responded to the 2200 block of Early Street around 1 a.m. They found heavy smoke and fire in the basement of the duplex.
Firefighters worked in the bitter cold temperatures for several hours to put the fire out.
One of the duplex occupants suffered minor injuries.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The Red Cross is helping those who were displaced.
