TOWN OF GROVER (NBC 26) — The Marinette County Sheriff is investigating a crash that happened early Saturday morning in the town of Grover.

A semi-truck hit a car that was either pulling onto Highway 41 or attempting to completely cross to Kasal Lane into the Eagle Express truck stop, officials said. The truck went into a ditch and overturned, and the car spun out, and the driver was ejected and later pronounced dead on the scene.

The truck driver was trapped and was later taken to the hospital. The woman killed was identified Sunday as Kathy Ann Trepainer, 67, from the town of Grover. The hospitalized truck driver was identified Sunday as Lowell R. Reeck, 64, from Pulaski. His current condition is unknown, the Sheriff's Office said.

The crash is still under investigation.
