GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — NWTC student nurses made the holidays a little more special for young patients Wednesday.
They've collected blankets and books for kids who will spend the holidays in Green Bay area hospitals.
"It really brightens the kids’ day and just that simple gesture of giving them a book or giving them a blanket. Something that is their own at such a tough time can really brighten their spirits," explained co-organizer Brittany Beyer.
