GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — A fourth truck filled with donations left St. Matthew's Orthodox Church Wednesday morning. It comes from the work of the Wisconsin Ukrainians, a group that has been collecting donations since the conflict in Ukraine began close to one month ago.

The 24-foot box truck was provided via the Fox Valley Technical College's Transportation Program. Its first stop was Germantown to unload at Help Heroes of Ukraine's (HHU) warehouse. They dropped off medical supplies, clothing, blankets, military equipment, toys, and more. They were greeted by volunteers and HHU chairman Igor Terletsky. HHU will cover shipping costs to get the physical donations to Ukraine.

The next stop was to Greenfield for deliveries to the Ridge Church. Here, they unloaded personal hygiene products that will be sent to Moldova for Ukrainian refugees.

The group plans to have one more truck go out either at the end of this week or early next week. At this time, they are no longer accepting physical donations, but rather monetary donations. They'll begin distributing the money to known and trusted partners in Ukraine and Poland to help further serve the people.
