GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — Nominations are now being accepted for the Packers High School Coach of the Week program. The team is currently accepting nominations from all high schools across the state.

The program is in partnership with Buffalo Wild Wings and recognizes one outstanding Wisconsin high school coach on a weekly basis during the 2022 high school football season.

If selected, each honoree will be awarded several items and privileges, including a $2,000 donation to the school's football program from the Packers, Buffalo Wild Wings and the NFL.

Coaches can be nominated regardless of the team's on-field performance, rather the nominee could be honored for how they have turned programs around, how the team has impacted the community, or how the coach impacts the players and their families.

By the end of the high school football season, one winning coach will be named the WFCA/ Green Bay Packers High School Football Coach of the Year, selected by the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association, and will be awarded a $4,000 donation to their football program.

Nominations can be submitted by 10:00 a.m. every Monday to Ryan Fencl at coachoftheweek@packers.com.

All nominations should include the nominee's name, address, school, phone number and the reason they are deserving of the award.
