Today is the last day you can nominate a friend or neighbor for the Celebrate Volunteers Awards.
These are people or a business, in the community that have gone above and beyond to give back.
We've been introducing you to last year's winners over the last few weeks. While we all know it's been a weird year for volunteering, organizers say community members still deserve to be recognized.
"I would say don't feel like because there really wasn't a lot of volunteer opportunities and I don't feel like I should get an award, I think to look broader at volunteer history is a great way to honor someone for some outstanding work that they've done," said Tammy Geenen, with the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region.
