OUTAGAMIE COUNTY (NBC 26) — Due to rising water levels, the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office is issuing a slow no wake order for the Wolf River in Outagamie County.
The sheriff's office said in a statement Friday the order imposes a slow, no-wake zone for boaters operating within 500 feet of any permanent building.
The sheriff’s office said it's using the National Weather Service Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service’s Shiocton Location to monitor the river level.
When the river is no longer in or above the “Action” stage, the No Wake order will be lifted.
