SUAMICO (NBC 26) — The NEW Zoo & Adventure Park is once again offering custom, animal-themed, springtime baskets for purchase online at newzoo.org.
Every basket includes a zoo admission ticket, a “Zoo Cash” ticket to ride the carousel, and an assortment of fun items from the Paws and Claws Gift Shop, such as plush animals, toys, games, and trinkets.
The zoo started this fundraiser sale last year as a result of the quarantine. The zoo's operations manager says last year was really successful and people were asking about it again this year.
The basket options offer up to 20 different animal themes to choose from. Prices range from $25 to $35.
Baskets will be created within three days of purchase, and if you choose to pick-up your package in person, our staff will call you to provide instructions of where to go and what to expect on your arrival.
Orders must be picked up by zoo closing on Friday, April 2nd. Baskets can also be shipped to your gift recipient(s) for a $20 shipping & handling fee. All purchases must be made online prior to midnight on Monday, March 29 th at newzoo.org.
