GREEN BAY — A new safe walk and bike plan has been approved for the residents of Green Bay. It's called the Safe Routes Project.
The Green Bay Public School District, and the city are working together.
This is a way for children and adults to make walking and biking safely apart of their daily routines.
"We do recognize there are some students who do not qualify for bussing because they live too close to school, students don't always have an opportunity for a ride to school, hopefully this plan makes walking and biking safer,” explained Jeremy Wildemberg, Transportation Manager Green Bay Public Schools
There is currently no end date.
