GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers, Green Bay Packers CEO Mark Murphy and regional business leaders attended the New North Summit Thursday at the Lambeau Field Atrium.
Barb LaMue, President and CEO of New North, Inc., said the event was all about thanking communities, businesses and organizations as we're coming out of the pandemic.
"We have stories and videos and presentations that really demonstrate what has happened over the last year," she said. "And really great success stories of us coming out of the pandemic."
Themed as the ‘Playbook for Recovery,’ about 500 people attended the event that was originally scheduled for December, but was pushed back due to the pandemic.
"You can just feel the energy that there's great plans in the works," LaMue said. "And people just really reflecting on the past year about lessons learned, right? How everyone really pulled together and supported one another."
