APPLETON (NBC 26) -- Harbor House domestic abuse facility is getting a colorful new addition.
The "Together, We Rise” mural has been a dream for the program for the past two years.
The mural was designed and created by local artist, Irineo Medina. Facility managers say they hope the mural will convey the idea that for one of us to rise, we all must rise together.
"We wanted a piece that represents our community, all of us. And the beauty that we all bring and that together we can shine a brighter light to shine out domestic abuse,” said Marketing/Events Manager Morgan Kirchenwitz.
You can see the mural on the Harbor House's garage that faces both Memorial Drive and Fifth Street.
