APPLETON (NBC 26) — A new Boys & Girls Club has opened in Appleton this summer, located within James Madison Middle School.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley said this is the seventh Appleton school-based Club location that the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley operates. Other Appleton school-based locations include Highlands Elementary, Columbus Elementary, Kaleidoscope Elementary, Foster Elementary, Badger Elementary and Wilson Middle School.
The Boys & Girls Club of James Madison Middle School launched Monday, June 14 with its summer program, which will serve youth entering 7th or 8th grade who are also attending James Madison’s summer school program. Club programming will take place between 11:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday until July 9 (closed July 2 & 5). Lunch and a snack are provided to youth enrolled in the program.

When the Boys & Girls Club of James Madison Middle School opens for the 2021-22 school year on Wed., Sept. 1, it will offer after-school programming between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. for 7th and 8th graders. Membership at the new Club is free for the 2021-2022 school year and open to all 7th and 8th grade students, including those who do not attend James Madison Middle School.
