Nestlé laying off workers at four Wisconsin locations, including one in Appleton

APPLETON -- A notice from the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) shows Nestlé is laying off workers at four locations in Wisconsin, including a location in Appleton.

32 workers at the Appleton location are expected to be affected. Nestlé says in a notice to DWD that the company is reorganizing the Nestlé Sales and Supply Chain Frozen DSD operation and are partially closing the Appleton site.

The entire facility will not close, Nestlé says, but workers will be laid off due to the reorganization, which is expected to be permanent. The layoffs are scheduled to begin in November and may continue through the end of December.
