NEENAH (NBC 26) -- Neenah Police Chief Aaron Olson has reenlisted in to the Army Reserve after a ten year break in service.
"Being a police officer and a police chief has been my whole life for a really long time, and this gives me a break to do things that are going to be fun," Olson said. "Military is really fun for me, and it’s going to give me another perspective in life and I think that’s what I’m looking forward to the most
Olson was previously in the Army Reserve for more than 13 years.
"Even though I’ve been in the military before, it’s just giving me a new unit, new people, new job, and it’s going to be a lot of fun for me," he said.
Olson said it will not impact his job as police chief.
