NEENAH (NBC 26) -- A Neenah family currently visiting relatives in Wuhan China are waiting to board a charter flight back the United States. They originally were supposed to take off Monday morning in China but are now hoping to take off Tuesday evening.

"I was so relieved to get that message," said Samuel Roth, the father. ""When we got that email that gave us strong confidence that the US government and Chinese government were able to come to some agreement that allows my family to evacuate."

Roth said an uncle will take his wife and two daughters to the airport where they will be checked for documentation and board a flight back to the US. However, Roth says he doesn't know where they will be going. Four military bases are scheduled to hold evacuees. Roth doesn't know which one yet.

"I am confident they will tell us," Roth said. "Right now, I don't know."

Once they arrive, they are expected to be quarantined for 14 days. Roth says once he knows they will be discharged, he will fly out and pick them up.
