GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — Abby, about two years ago, Christine Geurts started making shirts and stickers for her family and friends. Now, she guesses she’s made around 500 custom designs.
“I took a dive," she said. "And it’s just been so much fun.“
From a green and gold woman with her hair in a messy bun, to a pair of green and gold lips that look like a football, the Craftworks by Christine designs are unique to say the least.
“I love the packers," she said. "And so why not? Show love. And this is different, this is unique. The bleaching, the designs, you can’t find in the stores.“
Geurts uses sublimation to make her prints, but she doesn’t just make designs for packers fans.
“A lot of what I make actually relates to being a mom," said Geurts. "And kids, like those moms that have kids in sports and just being proud of showing their love for their kids.“
In addition to T-shirts, Geurts makes tumblers, key chains, decals and so much more.
“She does an amazing job," said Sarah Van Dommelen. "I like to be a part of it and watch her succeed. Every time I come here, she has a different thing.“
When it comes to custom designs, Geurts is always up for a challenge.
“People just like that I’m able to work with what they are throwing at me," she said. "I’m not going to lie, I take pride in the fact that I can take an idea and just turn into something different.“
