GREEN BAY (NBC) — The National Railroad Museum is hosting three-week-long Summer Railroad Camps for young train enthusiasts. The "Firemen" camp began today and will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Firemen Camp will feature train-related activities including working on crafts, playing train games, and building a toy train layout. The recommended age for this camp ranges from five to seven.
The camp capacity is limited to 24, and online bookings for camp slots can be done at http://nationalrrmuseum.org/summer-railroad-camps/. The cost for the Firemen camp is $75 for museum members and $85 for non-members.
Two camps will also be held later in the summer and can be found on the National Railroad Museum's website as well. The Junior Engineers camp is recommended for ages 8-11 and the Advanced Engineers camp is recommended for ages 12-18.
