KEWAUNEE CO. (NBC 26) -- Authorities released the names of two people who were found dead in a Kewaunee County home Friday evening.
Kewaunee Co. Sheriff's Department says a caller asked for a welfare check at a home in the Township of Ahnapee. The caller said they had not hear from an acquaintance who lived there for a few days and was concerned.
Upon arrival, deputies tried to contact anyone inside. When they looked through the windows they found two bodies on the floor.
Deputies say the bodies were 71-year old Dennis A. McMillan and 56-year-old Laura M. McMillan.
Based on initial investigation, it appeared that Dennis McMillan shot Laura McMillan multiple times before ultimately turning the gun on himself.
This incident remains under investigation with the assistance of the Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigation.
