MANITOWOC COUNTY — A man driving a motorcycle Friday morning died after a crash on CTH CR north of Clover View Road.
According to the Manitowoc County Sheriff's Office, a 17-year-old girl driving a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban swerved to avoid hitting another car in front of her that had slowed to make a turn. The Sheriff's Office said she moved into the path of a 1994 Honda CBR motorcycle, operated by 35-year-old Ryan Tadych from Manitowoc.
The Sheriff's Office said Tadych was thrown from the motorcycle after the crash. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. The Sheriff's Office said he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The 17-year-old driver was also taken to a hospital for possible injuries.
The Sheriff's Office said this is the 11th fatal crash in Manitowoc County this year.
