MENASHA (NBC 26) — Menasha police said a freshman student at Menasha High School has been placed in secure detention for allegedly making social media threats.
Police said the investigation found there was no plan to cause harm to people, and the comments were reportedly made to "get a rise out of people."
In Wisconsin, minors can be tried as adults and school threats can result in prison time.
