Menasha Police investigating dog bite incident

MENASHA (NBC 26) — Menasha Police are investigating a reported dog bite incident that happened Wednesday.

Police said the incident was reported on 200 block of Tayco Street. Police are searching for a black Labrador retriever and its owner. Officers would like to speak with the owner of this animal and verify the animal’s health.

Anyone who witnessed this incident or can possibly identify a black Labrador retriever with a collar and tags that may have been involved is asked to contact the Menasha Police Department.

"As we start to see more pedestrian traffic with the warm weather, the Menasha Police Department would like to remind everyone to keep domestic animals under their control and supervised to avoid animals from running at large and potentially jeopardizing the safety and health of our community members," police said in a statement.
