DE PERE (NBC 26) — Beginning Tuesday, masks will be optional for students and staff in grades 4K through 6 at schools in the Unified School District of De Pere.
In an announcement on the school district's website, the district said the USDD Board of Education approved the change Monday.
The school district said additional updates on COVID-19 mitigation strategies will be shared in the coming days.
Back in October, the school district had voted to continue to require masks for 4K-6 students, making them optional when Brown County coronavirus cases fell to a certain point.
