KESHENA, Wis. (NBC 26) -- For the first time in his life, Pete Otradovec got a frustrating call from his bank. His debit card was compromised.
"I was putting two-and-two together, and I was thinking of the casino's cyberattack," Otradovec told NBC 26. "And I said 'I just used my card there a few days ago.'"
BACKGROUND: Menominee Casino Resort temporarily closes after cyberattack
Just one day before the Menominee casino closed due to a cyberattack on its computer systems, Otradovec says he paid for gas at the Thunderbird Convenience Store, an affiliated business that was also hacked.
The Suring resident says two fraudulent charges appeared on his bank card. And while the casino hasn't confirmed it, he believes his information could have been stolen during the attack.

"It's really, really suspicious that that happened at the casino with their cyberattack and then this happens to me this week after using my card there," Otradovec said.
The enrolled Menominee man called casino security when his bank told him charges for $53.99 and $350.99 were made from Colorado to international money transfer website WorldRemit.
He says he goes to the hacked casino's facilities all the time.
"That kind of threw a red flag to where that's gotta be possibly a 99-percent chance that that's where it came from," he said.
Casino leaders did not respond to NBC 26's phone calls, but the business released a statement on Monday.
"At this time, we do not believe any secure information has been compromised," Casino General Manager Daniel Hansen said in the statement.
Tribal leaders tell NBC 26 the cyberattack is still under investigation. So Otradovec says anything is possible.
"I cannot really think of any other way why it would be compromised," he said. "I use my card at basically all the same locations all the time."
As of right now the Menominee Casino Resort is still closed. Casino and tribal leaders met this morning and are still working with the FBI to resolve the issue.
Officals say they hope to open on Thursday, but it might take until the weekend.
