MANITOWOC (NBC 26) — Manitowoc Police are searching for a dog accused of biting a man on the face.
Police said a 21-year-old man was bit on his face by a dog while at Indian Creek Park in the Dog Park Area. The incident reportedly happened Friday at around 5:30 p.m.
According to police, the man was with his own dog at the dog park when he was approached by the other dog. The man bent over to pet the dog and it jumped on his chest. The dog then bit the man in the face. The man sought treatment for his wound and the incident was reported to the police.
Police said the man didn't see where the dog went or who the owner was. The suspected dog was described as a black Labrador or Rottweiler.
