SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (NBC 26) — The Sheboygan Police Department is investigating a single-vehicle motorcycle crash that happened early Monday morning.
Around 1:20 a.m., officers were called to the intersection of S. 8th St. and Indiana Ave. A 27-year-old Sheboygan man was driving his motorcycle south on S. 8th St. and failed to negotiate the rotary intersection. He was thrown from his motorcycle and suffered life threatening injuries.
Nearby officers were able to use a tourniquet to control heavy bleeding. The man was taken to St. Nicholas Hospital by Sheboygan Fire Department Paramedics, where he was flown to Froedtert Hospital.
The intersection is currently closed while the police department investigates the crash.
