MANITOWOC, Wis. — A 41-year-old Manitowoc man is in custody after an incident around 7:30 Wednesday night.

Officers responded to the 1400 Block of S. 14th Street for reports of a man outside a residence that he was barred from due to prior bail restrictions. Officers found him yelling at a person that the suspect is barred from having contact from.

The suspect saw the police and went into another residence, and barred the door. According to his bail restrictions, he is not allowed to have contact with that residence, either.

Police got a search warrant and when they found the suspect had weapons in the residence, the Manitowoc County S.O.S. team was called.

After about half an hour of attempting to contact the suspect, police entered the residence.

The suspect was taken into custody with the help of Manitowoc County K-9. He received minor injuries while being apprehended. He is facing Disorderly Conduct, Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia charges.
