A 19-year-old man was pronounced dead Saturday night after he was swept up by waves in Lake Michigan.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department responded to McKinley Beach around 8:41 p.m. Upon arrival, deputies discovered an adult male and two children had been in the water.
