MARINETTE (NBC 26) -- A man has been arrested in Colorado for an assault reported in Marinette last month.
Marinette Police said an aggravated assault happened December 11 on the 1800 block of Stephenson Street. Following an investigation, authorities identified a suspect who was believed to have left the state.
On Thursday, Marinette Police made an announcement on Facebook that 32-year-old Johnathan Alan Maxson was arrested on December 30 for charged related to this incident.
Maxson is currently being held in Jefferson County, Colorado jail awaiting extradition to Wisconsin. Marinette County District Attorney’s Office has charged Maxson with First Degree Reckless Injury, Aggravated Battery, and Disorderly Conduct.
