FOND DU LAC, Wis. (NBC 26) — Fond du Lac Police received a call around 7:00 p.m. Sunday, reporting a domestic violence situation on W. Scott Street. The victim said a 33-year-old man was threatening with a knife.
The suspect was wanted on numerous other charges from previous domestic incidents involving the victim.
The man fled the scene before police arrived, but he was located in the area of Donohue Court.
Police were unable to make contact with the suspect and the SWAT and Negotiations teams were activated. Negotiations were then established, but deteriorated.
Eventually the SWAT team used an explosive to enter the apartment and arrest the suspect. No one was injured during the incident.
