BROWN COUNTY, Wis. — The man accused of killing a woman from Bellevue is convicted on a lesser charge in her death.
In Brown County court on Tuesday, Anthony Kitchenakow took the Alford plea, meaning he did not admit guilt but acknowledges there is enough evidence to find him guilty.
The 46-year-old is now charged with First Degree Reckless Homicide. The victim, Suzette Langlois, was found shot in her driveway in Bellevue in August 2016.
Authorities say the killing was motivated by a drug debt owed by Langlois’ boyfriend. Kitchenakow's sentencing is scheduled for August 14th.
