As a precautionary measure, the Green Bay Area Public School District says Lombardi Middle School is in “secure the building - outside situation."
The school district says all students are safe, and the school day will continue within the building as normal. During secure the building, no one is allowed to enter or leave the building.
School officials ask that you do not drive or walk to the school, as this could result in placing yourself in an unsafe situation.
If you have a specific concern (i.e., family emergency) that needs immediate attention, please contact the school’s office.
School officials are working with local law enforcement and will provide more information as available.
