Local WWII veteran looking to get 100 cards for 100th birthday

KAUKAUNA (NBC 26) — It’s not often that someone reaches 100 years old, but it is something that Warren G. Kohne of Kaukauna is very close to achieving.

Warren, a veteran of WWII who served in both the Pacific and European theatre, is looking to get 100 cards for his birthday!

“St. Paul is going to be able to bring him down by the glass doors that he will be able to be behind, and we can all stand outside the glass doors, wish him a happy 100th birthday. I also have a banner made up that says Happy 100th birthday on it,” said Warren's son, Phil Kohne.

His birthday is Feb. 25. Warren resides at the St. Paul Assisted Living Center in Kaukauna. So, if you have the chance to send warren a birthday card, you can address it to:
