ASHWAUBENON (NBC 26) — Public pools in Northeast Wisconsin are getting ready for a new season.
One popular place to cool off is Ashwaubomay Lake with a sandy beach and no chemicals or chlorine in the water.
"The 9th is the last day of school, so the 10th we will be…ready for business. So yeah, I hope the warm water gets it in people's minds this weekend that we're opening soon." Melody Escoto, the Aquatic Coordinator for the Village of Ashwaubenon.
You'll have to wait to cool off. Ashwaubomay Lake won't open until Friday, June 11th.
